Steamships & Discovery Centre
Muskoka’s steamship heritage is older than Canada. The first ship steamed Lake Muskoka in 1866. She is North America’s oldest operating mail steamship. Wenonah II, a modern interpretation of a traditional steamship, is named in honour of Wenonah, the first steamship to sail Lake Muskoka. Before or after sailing, visit the Discovery Centre.

On the Green Dining at Rocky
On the Green Bistro, located within the Rocky Crest Golf Resort, offers a delightful dining experience in a charming Muskoka log cabin setting. Overlooking the 18th green of the Rocky Crest Golf Club, the bistro provides guests with picturesque views and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
The bistro serves traditional clubhouse fare for lunch and introduces creative touches to its dinner menu. Lunch is available daily from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, featuring dishes like the Chicken Club sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Wrap, and a variety of pizzas such as the Mediterranean and Meat Lover's. Dinner is served from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, offering options like Penne Alla Boscaiola, Butternut Squash Ravioli, and Grilled Salmon.

Muskoka Cycling Routes
Starting and ending in the beautiful town of Bala, Ontario’s cranberry capital, this 95km track will test your strength and endurance with two significant climbs. Be sure to stop in Port Caling and admire ‘The Wall’, the world’s largest picture mosaic. You might come across the village moose near Windermere.

Windows Restaurant at Rocky Crest Golf Resort offers a fine dining experience with spectacular views of Lake Joseph. The menu features Canadiana-inspired dishes, including premium cuts of Canadian beef, freshly prepared soups, salads, and homemade desserts. Breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 10:30 am, and on weekends from 7:30 am to 11:00 am. Dinner is available Wednesday through Sunday from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

Local Farmers Markets
The Rosseau Farmers' Market is a vibrant seasonal event held at the scenic waterfront park in Rosseau, Ontario. Operating every Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the market runs from the last Friday in June until the second Friday in September. Visitors can explore a diverse array of vendors offering fresh Ontario produce, artisanal foods, handcrafted goods, and unique crafts.

Torrance Barrens Dark Sky Area
The 4,700-acres of Crown land is bedrock and wetlands, with trees and bushes that are stunted in height. For star-gazers this means a spectacular 360 degree view of the night sky, unhampered by light pollution. Even an amateur’s telescope can see the rings of Saturn.

Festival of the Sound
